The Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 requires Licensees and Managers to practice Host Responsibility to ensure that alcohol is consumed safely and that the potential for harm is minimised.
An important part of this is to ensure that front line service staff are trained in the key elements of Host Responsibility.
It is a requirement that staff are trained in Host Responsibility when they begin their role, and that they receive regular, ongoing refresher training.
A Licensee must be able to prove Host Responsibility training has been ongoing when they apply at the DLC to renew their licence – a lack of training may result in problems when it comes time to renew.
The Training Bureau can make this easy with our comprehensive Host Responsibility Training, delivered by our expert trainer.
We provide a comprehensive training package for your records – making it easy when renewal time comes around. Each staff member will also receive a certificate of attendance.
Please contact us to discuss a tailored training package that is right for you.
