Training LCQ Since 1997

Our Story

The Training Bureau is an NZQA registered Private Training Establishment (PTE) specialising in practical hospitality related training.

We have been delivering LCQ training since 1997 when the company was known as the Liquor Licensing Bureau and first received NZQA registration. In that time we have helped over 20,000 people obtain their LCQ with a 96% pass rate.

Currently, we deliver LCQ by Distance Learning or live online Zoom courses anywhere in New Zealand; and Classroom courses in Auckland, Blenheim, Hamilton, Napier, Nelson, New Plymouth, Palmerston North, Queenstown, Rotorua, Taupo, and Tauranga.

We take the responsibility of preparing staff for their duties very seriously. We are committed to ensuring everyone that goes through our courses comes out equipped and confident to deal with the real life situations that are unique to the hospitality industry.

NZQA

The Training Bureau has been rated as a Category One provider with New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA). This means they are “Highly Confident” in our education service, and the quality and value for learners.
